Term 2 2024 training at Otaraua Park

We have been very fortunate, Kapiti Coast District Council are allowing us to use Otaraua Park in Otaihanga for training classes for Term 2

We will be able to hold a Term 2 class for 6 weeks starting on Sunday 28 April 2024.

Please note as most of our equipment is in storage we will have limited items from our usual equipment available for our classes, in recognition we have reduced the term fee to $70

  • There are limited classes and availability.
  • Puppies, New Entrants  & Grade 1 classes will be the only classes in Term 2
  • The fee for the term is $70
  • Enrolments and payments must be made by 19 April 2024
  • 6 week term
  • Term starts Sunday 28 April 2024 
  • Venue - Otaraua Park Otaihanga
  • All classes are held on Sundays and start at 1.30pm

Kapiti Dog Training Club is a non-profit organisation serving the local community since the late 1970's.

We are Dogs New Zealand (previously New Zealand Kennel Club) affiliated and are members of the Dog Trainers Association of New Zealand Inc.

Positive Reinforcement techniques are used to assist you achieving your training goals, along with fun training activities to create maximum enjoyment for your dog.

Training classes are run from late January/early February to December each year – these include:

  • Domestic Training for puppies and dogs
  • Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
  • Competitve Obedience
  • Scent Work 
  • Junior Handlers Class
